PolyGroup Inc. has developed a revolutionary and affordable specialized non-contact heat sealing system that eliminates rollers, springs, heat transfer tapes/bands and conventional cartridge heaters commonly used today in the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) Sheet Molding Compounds (SMC) industry. This new non-contact sealing system uses carefully controlled hot air and fits into the same space reserved for your current seal bar/band system. The sealing system is useful for both permanent seal and peel-seal SMC barrier films. It’s the optimal sealing system for consistent lock seal and/or seal-peel every time.
